Us ladies of a certain age have our tried and tested go to products when travelling….here are my top three ……. Flexitol – I’m very much a walker and when in hot climes walking seems to make my feet especially dry with a tendency to crack at the heels. However slathering on some foot cream at bed […]
The railway disappeared in Gosport many years ago, in recent years it has been transformed into a pleasant walk way and cycle route much enjoyed over the recent lockdown, here are a few photos taken en route.
Enjoying the visits to local National Trust parklands and gardens in this glorious weather, here are a few of my favourite Uppark photos. Really well organised with limited visitors, easy to park and navigate the site, toilets are open. Uppark is in South Harting, near Petersfield, Hampshire.

We drank tropical coloured […]

This lockdown phase has made many of us appreciate the local area much more. I have never seen so many poppies in the fields or perhaps I have just never taken the time to notice them. The photos are of Stubbington and Portchester poppies in Hampshire. Enjoy!
I may have mentioned how pleased I am that some National Trust properties have opened up their parkland and gardens for visitors to get out and explore somewhere new or different to their home turf. The organisation and welcome received at The Vyne was second to none and certainly I will return when the house is open to […]
