Eight tips for mature visitors to Belfast

  2. Use taxis from the airport as they are cheap. £6 from George Best Airport to the Titanic Quarter.
  3. Save the Titanic Museum until it rains or your last day as it has lockers for luggage.
  4. Wear comfortable walking shoes as walking is the best way to see everything.
  5. Take the Troubles Tour, it will answer a lot of questions but leaving you needing to ask more!
  6. Try an Ulster breakfast at the Rain Check Cafe in the Titanic Quarter…it will set you up for the day.
  7. If you want to eat in the Cathedral Quarter, eat early or book….it is very popular at weekends.
  8. Cross the Lagan Weir bridge at night when it is illuminated.
