Paralia Sergoylas, Greece – a photoblog

IMG_1474

At last I had found one of those iconic white stone Greek churches set amongst olive trees and a bright cobalt sky as a backdrop. Staying near Skaloma on the Gulf of Corinth I was gradually exploring the nearby fishing villages and  Paralia Sergoylas was one of my favourites …… well it had to be after finding that church!  A small village with a handful of cafes, a dried up river bed waiting for the Autumn rains and a lovely church. The photographer within me was also taken with a cafe with sky blue shutters and a friendly waiter who served us frappe whilst we sat by the sea. He laughed at our attempts at Greek and we laughed with him. Here are a few of my favourite photos.
