Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbour. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover. – Mark Twain
Wide open space away from the crowds. I visited in July so the weather was hot and humid, this park was a welcome break from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Very well maintained, just like the rest of Shenyang it was extremely clean. All flower beds were neat, pathways clear of litter and signs marking the highlights of the park.
Plenty of attractions such as funfair, stalls to buy souvenirs and food.
Bikes to hire.
Boating Lake.
Lotus ponds, whilst I was visiting there were photographers taking pictures of girls in traditional dress seated by the ponds.
Emperor’s Tomb which required an additional fee to enter but well worth it to see traditional pagoda style architecture and views over the park.
Wonderful photos and aren’t the colours amazing? Looks a fascinating beautiful place.

Beiling was an unusual find in an otherwise hot, humid and busy city.
