Tucked behind Aynho Park is a neat square turreted church with its stone walls aged with white lichen glowing with Cotswold gold against a summery blue sky…yes we were lucky it was still only May but we had some warmth and gladly no rain. Smart stained glass windows and an unusually colourful display of organ pipes made this a welcoming visit. So nice the church door was ajar ready for us and others when many churches feel the need to lock.
