There is graffiti and then there is graffiti.

img_8159Graffiti isn’t new and street or urban art isn’t new and vandalism isn’t new…….so what am I trying to say? I’m more than happy to see organised street art such as at The Leake Street Arches near Waterloo in London or Spitalfields art enjoyed by the artists and public alike but I am disappointed by those that find it necessary to sabotage signs, buildings, other people’s property etc. Across the world I have seen it in many cities but whilst this is another Grey Traveller rant I make no apologies…..it has to stop.

  1. The one thing that I hated in Berlin was that every space was tagged. The street art is great, but I could only imagine repainting the front of your house, only to have your lovely fresh facade “tagged” overnight. What’s the point of that?
