National Air and Space Museum, Washington DC – a photoblog

We saved the biggie ’til our last day having to kill several hours before a late flight from Dulles.

Two floors covering space, moon and flight just as it says on the tin. Huge displays and me admittedly not having much interest in this type of museum appreciated the sheer scale and in particular liked the Wright brother’s exhibit and the replica of the Montgolfier balloon. Spent four hours here, there are plenty of toilets and the Grab and Go Cafe when you need a comfort break.

Close to the Capitol Building at the eastern end of the National Mall.
