Driving from Rockport, MA to Great Barrington along Highway 2 we had great views of the leaves changing colour. Needing a stop off to stretch our legs we pulled into Mohawk Reserve.
We were impressed with the cleanliness of the toilets and the grill areas and enjoyed scuffing through the leaves by the Deerfield River. By the time we were visiting the water was moving fast and the area was littered with large rocks no doubt moved by the water many hundreds of years ago.
So well maintained a stop off, located near Charlemont.
