Changing Tides B&B, Rockport, MA

When we pulled up outside Changing Tides B&B on Mount Pleasant Street I was humming Beautiful Sound’s Weather With You which mentions a Mount Pleasant Street. Well it was definitely pleasant and it was on a bit of a hill which led down to the ocean. I knew I would love it here because there was a rocking chair on the verandah at this lovely clapboard house…….but probably if I am going to be truthful the best reason to love Changing Tides  was Stephanie’s blueberry pancakes the following morning.

From the minute we stepped in Stephanie made us very welcome, she showed us to the Beachcomber room, all seasidey blue and white decor and chocolate cookies on the stand. What’s not to like?

Great location within walking distance to Bearskin Neck and the beaches and of course Roy Moores Fish Shack for which I will be forever grateful for Stephanie’s recommendation…the best lobster ever!

We had access to the sitting room and non stop coffee…….and what I really enjoyed was sitting round a big table at breakfast sharing travellers tales with others. Plenty to eat with granola and juices, toast and whatever our host cooked for us……I loved it.
