Godshill, Isle of Wight photoblog.

1C84C65C-B47B-4971-8FF9-7B9914C38367All Saints Church looks down on its parish; perched on a hill edged with neatly clipped thatched cottages it is a perfect viewing point to see the colours changing in autumn. The village is somewhat quieter in the later months of the year making it just perfect for Grey Traveller exploration.

Parking at The Old Smithy I was able to start some early Christmas shopping in this vast emporium of gifts and souvenirs. There are other enticing shops such as Chocolate Island and cafes twinkling a welcome out of the autumnal cold. The sign posts led me to the church and I took the ‘thatched cottage ‘ path and was not disappointed by the chocolate box scene. I passed the interestingly named Koala Cottage  and took a mental note for my next island adventure. This is what I saw.
