Americans do pumpkins in a big way! We saw pumpkins for sale on the side of the street, at farm shops and being used as decoration on steps across Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut. The best display of pumpkins which I spotted was at the First Congregational Church in Chatham, Cape Cod. Hats off I swear I have never seen so many pumpkins in one place at the same time.
Pumpkins were also being used to flavour beer and latte not sure I was up for that but I did enjoy the displays ….hope you do too.
No Jonno I don’t like pumpkins either and especially not pumpkin ale!

Your fall experience in America is fantastic. I never considered that people from other places would consider it overkill! I guess that’s how we get our reputation for being over the top on everything!
