The Lobster Hatchery at Padstow

0630CE17-453A-4EF3-89EB-03CCCCB6F63DWe happened upon the The National Lobster Hatchery at the start of the Camel Trail in Padstow. The Grey Traveller got to meet Captain Barnacles and many of his relations from huge crust crustaceans to teeny tiny see through specs in shades of electric blue and deep orange.

There are lots of informative displays reminding us to look after our oceans and then hopefully they will look after us. Sustainability is the theme and the future of these creatures depend on how we treat the planet. There is of course the obligatory gift shop and entrance fee is £4.50
