Say the place name Kew and most people think Gardens. This upscale London ‘village’ boasts its own cricket green, can claim part of the Thames path and of course is host to many visitors as they visit Kew House and it’s grounds. But it’s not all about the gardens for me.
Walking the Thames path towards Richmond or indeed towards the centre of London the stroller gets to see fine examples of waterside living both old and new. Watch people fishing with their long nets or if time allows stop off for a drink at a Thames side pub. Great views over to Isleworth.
Fantastic photos. So typically English. Never walked along the river that way but looks like I need to. Can you walk along the actual riverbank for a long way?

Yes I think you can, we have walked other sections such as https://thegreytraveller.com/2017/10/06/walking-the-thames-path-old-windsor-egham-staines/ and https://thegreytraveller.com/2016/08/02/waterloo-to-rotherhithe-walk-london-6-miles-approx/. I like river or canal walks

Next time we’re in London we will have to see if we can get out that way. Always seem to go east for some reason.
