Seaview, Isle of Wight – photoblog

I arrived in Seaview having walked the coastal path from Ryde. Seaview is characterised by Victorian villas, sand and shingle beaches and great views across the Solent to Portsmouth.

It’s Ryde’s quieter more genteel sister where you can plant yourself in the outside area of the Boathouse or the Seaview Hotel and while away a half hour sampling local gins such as Mermaid. From the coastal path you can enter the Hersey Wildlife Reserve.

There looks to be some classy holiday accommodation so no doubt this will be next on The Grey Traveller’s hit list.
