A little bit of Thai Island Life in Southsea

Have been meaning to catch the boat to Koh  in Southsea for some Thai Tapas for ages and finally he who likes to think he is obeyed and I did just that.

A warm welcome at the door and we were ushered into what I believe was once an old bank building. The old bank wooden panels  have been tastefully used to transform guests into an Asian styled restaurant….complete with sitting buddhas and relaxing ambience.

We chose the tasting menu and were not disappointed with 8 dishes in all. We told the waitress our likes and dislikes and she did not disappoint with a starter of chicken satay, spring rolls and battered chilly beef with accompanying sauces.

This was followed by chicken and cashews, pork and noodles and a mix of vegetables and jasmine rice. I will not need to eat for a fortnight.

Washed down with Tiger beer, you can’t go wrong!
