With the recent release of Finding Dory I’m taken back to two of my most memorable experiences, that of snorkelling off Michaelmas Cay and Green Island on the Great Barrier Reef.
As travellers we have a duty to look after these world wonders so that our children and grandchildren get the same opportunities to find Nemo and to find Dory.
We need to avoid touching the coral and being tempted to break pieces off.
Don’t drop litter on beaches or overboard, marine life gets caught up in it and dies or ingests then dies.
Use biodegradable sick bags.
Educate yourself about the area before you go, educate others about the problems and remind them to follow the rules.
Support the local communities which maintain and monitor this reef and others around the world, they need this reef as a livelihood and tourism is big business as it employs thousands of locals.
ӏt is perfect time too make a few plans for the longer tᥱrm and it is time
to be happy. I have reаd this post andd if I coᥙlod I want
to counsel you feew interesting issues or tips. Maybe you can wгite next artiсⅼes relating to this articⅼᥱ.
I want to learn even more things applгoximately it!
