Stratford upon Avon, home of The Bard is a regular jaunt of The Grey Traveller and this post is more about the visual than the written word. Its an easy town to walk, compact and bijou to coin a phrase but not quite so easy to park in. I usually stay at the MacDonald Hotel which is on the Clopton Bridge and for a fiver you can leave your car there. Its just a hop, skip and a jump to the shops or along the Avon so its an ideal location to explore the town from. Hope you enjoy the photos.
Early morning in December, along the banks of the Avon looking over to the theatre.
